Bangladesh Wheelchair Sports Foundation®

Bangladesh Wheelchair Sports Foundation® (BWSF) is a non-profitable sports organization that won the 'Joy Bangla Youth Award 2020'. It has started working in the sports sector for the physically impaired persons with disabilities of Bangladesh from 2018. It has got the registration under ‘Office of the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and Firms (RJSC Bangladesh)’. The main aim and objectives of BWSF are promoting all types of para sports in one platform in Bangladesh and to assure the development of the wheelchair users (persons whose are differently able) mental growth, livelihood, social prestige, leadership and establish them into the mainstream of the society through the participation in all types of para sports and creating a professional para sports sector.

  Mission & Vision

1. To create eagerness among all physically impaired persons with disabilities athlete of Bangladesh with disabilities to enter the National and International world of para sports, by turning all types of para sports into an entertainment medium and physical workout.
2. To the development of the para sports, working with the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh's different activities collaboratively and also working with the approved organizations by the government whose activities coincide with BWSF’s aim and objectives.
3. Through National and International para sports, give recognition, honor and rewards to para user athletes and sports lovers (both male and female).

  Goals

1. To promote all types of para sports in National and International arena.
2. To develop the physically impaired persons with disabilities athletes lifestyle in every angle of life.
3. To create the accessible world for the physically impaired persons with disabilities of Bangladesh.
4. To create the inclusive world for the physically impaired persons with disabilities of Bangladesh.
5. To introduce Bangladesh in all over the world through para sports
